I just got a 1201A ticket. I was pulled over for speeding and the cop gave me 1201A Parking ticket. I really dont know what 1201A is. Under description of violation, it says Stopping/Standing on Pavement and has a tick mark on "Tr Inf".

Could someone explain what 1201A ticket is and how much would it cost? Is it a moving violation? Would my insurance go up? Are there any point?

Sorry for stupid question, i searched for 1201A on this forums and website but i couldn't find anything.

    • This is a blatant use of enforcement to raise revenue for government. The people doing it are the ones who belong in jail. It is probably diverting a state infraction fine into county or city coffers.

When will government officials learn that they can't have all the revenue they want? Attempts to raise more than a certain amount will always damage the economy, causing a reduction of the revenue collected.
